大学里那些教会我的事 What the university had taught me

It's been a time since I didn't log in and update my current status, well, because I'm too busy . As a law student is not easy and more challenges than I thought, but it's okay, I have mental prepare :) . Since last month I have been busy with all kinds of mid term test, assignments and presentations . Well I'm glad, at least, I have a bunch of good friends who are helping me always, guide me and share their experiences with me . It's nice to meet them, as they open their hearts to make friends, and that more or less has reduced my worries about the people in university are selfish, cause university is a half-working place . People have their own minds and thoughts and you'll never know whether they are using you or truly treat you as their friends . Luckily this didn't happen to me .

After busying with mid term almost for one month, here comes final exam for first semester .  Well all I can conclude is that once you enter university, you have to be well prepared and early preparation for test is a must, that what I learn from my recent experience in final exam, which is a bad one . Every week back to my home, I was busying with studies, prepare presentations and assignments and later final exams . It's been a long time since I had my shopping and outing with dad and mom :( . I hate this kind of feeling, seems like not enough time to accompany them, and my mum always said to me, "pitiful my daughter, every week back to home is just to study, study, study, are you able to cope it?" And I will tell my mom, " No worries, after I finish my final exams, then I can have a good rest . Awhh it's been a long time I never had my outing with you ." But believe me, I 'm not trying to boost about how busy are law students, in fact students in every course are busy too, but I will persist until I succeed . Oh yeah !

I had gain my bad experience with my final exams, since I prepared it last minute, so many chapters that I had read already forgot and my mind went blank in the exam hall . It's torturing when you see other people busy writing their answers, and you just sit there and mind went blank and don't know what to write in answer sheets . First time I had this experience and when I went back to hostel and phoned my parents, tears kept dropping down . Luckily they didn't blame me and encouraged me to moving on, and be strong when faced challenges . And so I had decided to buck up and be well prepared in next semester .

By the way, I had my early birthday celebration with my family, friends and fellow housemates . Really thanks to them who are so thoughtful . Bio groups celebrated my birthday before they went to university; dad and mom celebrated my lunar birthday and cooked mee sua and red eggs for me, while my housemates bought a birthday cake and drinks and held a small party in our small house . I'm really grateful to have them .
A picture says a thousand word

And that's all for now, ciao :)

It's another week ;)

As I stated in my last post about I'm having one week holidays for Hari Raya Aidilfitri, so I'm going to summarize what I had done in this holidays . But I need more holidays, seriously, one week isn't enough for me!!!!

I went out with my besties in last beautiful Saturday, chit-chatting non-stop and we are going to apart from each other ( mentioned in my last post so I'm not gonna focus on this ) . But we indeed had a great time, it feels awesome when you can chat everything with the one who knows you, and words are beyond to describe the relationship :)

Then, on Sunday night, I went out with Wen Yu, who is my housemate now and she's the girl from Batu Pahat too . What a small world ! We had been planning in Malacca to go to eat grilled fish and roasted chicken wing at the town of Batu Pahat as we missed all the delicious foods in BP, and yeah, in this holidays she asked me out to enjoy our dinner together :) And I drove that day, the first time I drove in BP since I went to Malacca ;p
Roasted chicken wing at the back and Grilled fish at the front with carrot milk and bobo cha cha
yum yum

Here comes my KL trip with fong yee . She planned to buy her formal shirts at KL although she turned out to buy casual wears at H&M . There's a funny experience for us when we chased the bus as the bus didn't wait for us when we went for toilet and petrol station . It's  hilarious when two girls and a man chased the bus and the whole bus passengers looked at us in a shocked manner . I even heard the guys sitting at the back of us said that they were wondering why no one sitting in front of them . Lol . We checked in at Sungei Wang Hotel and we went to H&M, Pavilion and Sungei Wang Plaza . It's was a two days one night trip . And we went to eat Korean cuisine on Tuesday at Pavilion, it was something like a buffet and each person had to pay RM30 . You can eat whatever you want and take how much you can, BUT YOU MUST ABLE TO FINISH IT or else there will be extra charges for you .

On Thursday night, we had our Bio Group gathering at li nyin's house . We had been planning to meet each other during my mid-term break, so they came up with a good idea by hosting a party at li nyin's house, as all of us love to eat !!!! We went to Aeon Big to buy our ingredients, for instance, fruits, cooking chocolate, marshmallow, sparkling juice and we also bought Domino Pizza, ginger bread and KFC cheesy wedges . Thank you Sharon for being the driver =p, hahaha!! A big thanks to you :D

special treat from Ling Ching home made popiah makes me mouth-watering . The fillings inside the popiah are vegetables, Chinese sausages and peanut powder . Yummy yummy o(≧﹏≦)o

Cheers!!!!!

It was a great time with my bunch of friends together! We always have a lots of idea to plan up activities for our bio group so that everyone can meet each other and update our current situation to each other . It's a pity that I cannot join them for the coming Penang trip on next week . Why MMU doesn't give a longer break to us ?!!! o.O

And I back to Malacca on Saturday morning . A big and warm thanks to my parents who drove me up all the way to hostel and then fetched me to Dataran Pahlawan to meet Ling Ching and Sharon . I love you two, daddy and mummy !! muaks!!!

However it's quite guilty for me as I didn't spend enough time with my parents although they didn't think that way, but still feels very sorry to them . :(

Then when I back to Malacca I realized that I haven't study for my coming test, oh my god! Wish me luck ;)

And yes, here comes our August

But yea, one week holidays starting from August 2 till August 11 is enough to make me happy and excited till the max!!!! Of course, one week holidays is enough for me to spend my precious time with my family  and my long time no see friends :) So, who wanna asking me out please call me for booking, FIRST COME FIRST SERVE :P  Hahahaha !

Yesterday, I went out with my dear babes . We managed to see each other once a month :(
We had a great chat yesterday, about girls talk and their future university lives . Well everyone is gonna leave each other to study at different places, different states, but I believe our friendship never ends as we still under the same blue sky .

Brand New Chapter, Brand New Experiences

Okay, I know it's been a long long time since I updated my last post, and my dear sweetie @ ling ching kept asking me to update it . Just a random post about how's my life at Malacca :)

Oh well, I came to Malacca to further my studies on 24th May 2013 . As I had mentioned it earlier, I came to Malacca on April to visit the university @ Multimedia University Malacca Campus . Finally I got my offer letter and I decided to further my studies here, to study law :) . So the registration day started on 26th May 2013 and I had to come earlier to clean up my room and to adapt the brand new environment in Malacca !

Not forgot to mention my lovely, sweet, awesome and fantastic friends from Bio Group ! They asked me out  in the morning to have breakfast together ! Love you all so much, guys!! And we wore the same clothes, specially designed for bio group members ♥. But of course, we took pictures too XD
ling ching, sharon and me

Then we went to Tasik Y, a random suggestion from one of us (forgot who suggested it) . It's a nice place to have exercises and photo shooting !! Hahaha, let's see the pictures we have taken :

And about 9 a.m. , I began my journey to Malacca . When I reach there, I had my lunch with parents and then went to the office of my hostel to get my key . One thing to mention, don't ever believe what the person-in-charge said because they said they had cleaned the house and man only can stay in the hostel for half an hour . What the bullshit !! They didn't even clean the house, dirt are everywhere, sucks man!!! And we asked the securityguard to make sure that is it man (even is father) can only stay in the hostel for half an hour, but the security guards said you can stay how long whatever you like, see!!!

We moved in all the things and started the cleaning session . At the halfway of cleaning session, my roommate and her family came, so both families did the cleaning together. About 5 p.m. , we had finished cleaning the house .

my room number

my room

Tadaa~~ this is the view of my house

After that, I had my dinner with my parents, ate Roti Canai actually but not that tasty :(  I'm managed to stay at the hostel alone while my roommate went back with her parents . It's really boring cause nothing to do and unable to access the internet . On the registration day, there were lots of freshies and parents driving their car to sent their children to MMU . I went to register with my roommate . After gone through all those procedure, I'm officially one of the students in MMU . Wheeeee~~ Then we went back to MMU at 3 p.m. and my roommate and I were divided into the same group of the same colour . Coincidence huh, at least still have a partner to accompany with me, hahaha!! There are four colours, namely red, yellow, green and blue, and each colour consisted 10 groups . Therefore, there were 10 mobile OC s and one head of mobile OC for each colour . Red represented Red Bulls, Yellow represented Yellow Lion, Green represented Green Monkey while Blue represented Blue Wolf . My group was RED BULL!!!!

And so, the orientation programme lasted for one week, that is started from Sunday till Friday . I must say this, orientation programme is very very important to every freshies, as this programme will enable you to get to know more friends, understand more about the university and the faculty you have chosen plus you will have fun in this programme !! The orientation programme here was really interesting and the seniors ( Orientation committee) were very helpful and kind . There are no barriers between seniors and juniors . They took good care of us and always came to us to chat so that we won't feel bored . And I realized something, there are many pretty and handsome seniors here from various faculties (eye-catching), hiak hiak XD .  I really have fun during the orientation week and I think I will regret if I didn't participate in it . As one week of orientation week is too long for me to describe here, so I just keep this wonderful memory in my mind . Hope that I can join as OC for the next year if I'm capable to do it :S . Almost forgot to mention, my group won the Best Cheers Award !! I'm not joking, but seriously our group cheers were the best and powerful from the other groups, yeah!!!!

Let's talk about my life here staying with other people from other states . My roommate is from Kuantan, Pahang which was situated quite far from Malacca . Other roommates are from Johor Bahru, Alor Setar and another roommate come from my hometown - BATU PAHAT . At least until now nothing happen between all of us, and they are acceptable .

Let me share with you another topic, which was my very first time entered the lecture . As this was the first week, so almost all the lecture class ended up early . For example, 2 hours class ended up in 20 minutes . Haha but this phenomenon only lasted for this week as next week onward, I'm going to have my tutorial classes and lecture classes . *Imma busy bee**  My lecturer said to us, " you don't study law but you read law" , interesting isn't it? Because he said laws are fact and we just have to read the facts and memorized it . Almost every lecturer said to us that if we don't start to study now, it'll be too late for us to catch up the class . Haiz I guess I have to read hard and keep memorizing it, but at least until now I can understand what the law is all about . We studied constitutions just like we had learned it during form six . Hope that I can pass my exams these four years and become a lawyer successfully . That's all for this post, ciao~

Malacca Trip

Yeah, just back from the trip this evening from Malacca, a wonderful place and a place of UNESCO ( Unique, Nicety, Eternity, Cool, Open-eyed) . This was a sudden decision from miss Sharon on Saturday .
And we girls, Sharon, Ling Ching, Yi Wei and I went together by bus this morning after having our breakfast at Yun Lai Dim Sum     *yummy yummy*

We met Celine in the bus who was going to Muar to meet her boy

Chit-chatting non stop in the bus and we took photos in the bus too.

Reached Muar around 10.00 a.m. something, we took domestic bus to the famous Red House . After that, we were snapping photos around as it was really a beautiful heritage place :) Okay, I can't denied that four of us love to snap photos :p    giggling

But of course, how can we just took photos of the building ? See we left our footprints, oops or I should say group photos here, tadaaa~

the paintings on the wall really nice man!! Thumbs up!!

And we went to our prior destination which was recommended by many bloggers and successfully got a rank of no.4 among 190 restaurants in Malacca, guess what is it ?Click here for more information :)
The Calanthe Art Cafe located at Jonker Street, so you can walk along Jonker Street and you'll find it, it's not difficult to locate the place :) . We were stunned by the creative design and pleasant ambience of the cafe . When we stepped in there, all the designs and murals attracted our attention . The cafe was set to be very retro and exoticism by displaying all the stuffs used in the 1950s .

I'm agree with it cause I'm a coffee-lover

See! The wall decorated by the shell of "don't know what species" of crab

Super love this picture! The sun light shining through the leaves

You know that kind of feeling when you saw something really damn nice and you really wanted to capture it by using camera to stay in your mind as part of your memory, well this Calanthe Art Cafe sure does !! We were busy taking photos here and there, and I must mention, the waiters there are really nice . They will come and help you to take photos automatically even though you didn't ask for help :)  And for the menu, there's a wide variety of choices for you, either foods or drinks . I was dazzled by the choices, really, everything looked nice and yummy to me, hahaha! Okay, I admit, I'm a greedy girl :p . Ling Ching ordered home-made laksa which was really delicious, and I recommend this dish . Oh yes. the salad was excellent too compared to the salad sold in Batu Pahat, it was really fresh and crunchy !! Mouth-watering !

As we walked along the street, we saw a stall, stood by and we bought the hanging ornament that made on the spot . You can choose your chinese name, date of birth, and the pattern of the ornament or even the small doll, then the boss will help you to combine them in one ornament . And things I need to mention are
You can call to them if you want to order more ornaments and they will email to you with pictures and types of ornaments .
You can come to their stall if your bell or ornaments spoil, the boss will help you to repair with free of charge!
Some people's Chinese name have complicated word or seldom-used Chinese characters, but no worries because at here you can find a lot of Chinese characters that we seldom used in our name . The boss told us that many people change their Chinese name characters after they seek opinion from Feng Shui shifu, and usually the characters are hard to find, but customers are able to find their name here . So you can see how wide variety of Chinese characters they have .
Can't believe that we actually stood at the stall for almost one hour by picking the stuffs, hahaha!
Bio-group members' ornaments
After that, we went to Jusco . They bought sushi and we went to FOS outlet . Ling Ching bought two t-shirts, Sharon bought one shirt and a outdoor bag and Yi Wei bought a school bag . Harvest!!! Then we went back to Batu Pahat at 3.00 p.m. . That's all for today, ciao!
